Aaron Rodgers finally signs with Steelers

After months of waiting, Aaron Rodgers has finally decided to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the team he beat in Super Bowl XLV with the Green Bay Packers 15 years ago. Rodgers left the Packers in 2022 after 18 years and went to the New York Jets, where he spent a rough 2 years, including tearing his Achilles on his first drive with the team. He is now headed to Pittsburgh, where he will likely spend the rest of his career.

This is an interesting move, mostly because Rodgers is a strange person. He's not a terrible quarterback, but he's definitely not the quarterback he was in 2011. He's old and has dealt with a ton of injuries in his career, including broken collarbones, torn Achilles, fractured feet, sprained ankles. These injuries have impacted his play, as he was clearly not the same last year. The Jets were a laughing stock and Rodgers was the butt of jokes for his poor play, as he went 14 weeks without a 300-yard game. However, he threw for almost 4,000 yards and 28 touchdowns, so there is a glimmer of hope for the Steelers. We'll see what happens.
