Eagles blow 21-point lead, lose 24-21 to Cowboys
The Philadelphia Eagles blew a 21-0 lead today and lost 24-21 to their archrival, the Dallas Cowboys. I'm writing this article as a recap, but mostly as a vent. The Eagles started this game pretty much flawlessly, scoring touchdowns on their first two drives. Jalen Hurts was on fire, throwing a touchdown and running for one as well. The Cowboys offense looked flat, doing absolutely nothing through most of the first 2 quarters. They scored at the end of the half, but that was it. The second half, the Eagles started off with 2 punts, but the defense didn't allow anything. The Cowboys did score on the final drive of the 3rd quarter, making it 21-14 Philly at the end of 3 quarters. On the Eagles first drive of the 4th quarter they got down to the Cowboys 38-yard line. They sent out Jake Elliot to try a 56-yard field goal, and that turned out to be a bad decision as he missed. It was at this moment that I began to lose hope. The Cowboys immediately marched down the field and tied up the game. The Eagles next possession ended in a Saquon Barkley fumble. Thankfully, the defense forced a punt. Unfortunately, Xavier Gibson muffed the punt and it was recovered by Dallas at the Philly 7-yard line. At this point, I thought it was all over. For a moment, I was wrong. The Cowboys turned it over on downs and the Eagles took over on their own 2-yard line. They got it down to the 37 at the 2-minute warning. On the first play after the warning, Hurts got sacked and the Eagles had to punt. The punt "hit the scoreboard", as FOX announcer Kevin Burkhardt said. But evidence showed it didn't even come close to the scoreboard. Nonetheless, the Eagles had to re-punt. Kavonte Turpin was flagged for an illegal fair catch. The Cowboys drive started at their own 27. They fumbled, but the ball went out of bounds. After they got the ball down to the 22, I knew it was over. It was. Brandon Aubrey hit a 42-yard field goal as time expired to win it for Dallas.
I'm feeling a lot of ways right now. One, I'm pissed, because that was a very winnable game, and the offense absolutely crapped the bed. Two, the Eagles are still 8-3 and on top of the NFC East, so I'm still content. And three, kind of relieved, because the Eagles have been playing like trash the past few weeks, and maybe this is the wake-up call they needed. The thing that annoys me is that people are going to play the blame game and blame the offense, Nick Sirianni, or other things, when it was everyone. EVERYONE contributed to this loss. Everyone. The offense didn't show up in the second half. Kevin Patullo and Nick Sirianni made some dumb mistakes. Xavier Gipson's muffed punt put the Cowboys in a position to put the dagger into our hearts. The defense wasn't great in the second half. THIS WAS A TEAM EFFORT. NO ONE PLAYER WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS LOSS. And every single damn issue needs to be fixed before Friday. The Eagles next game is on Black Friday, at 3pm against the Chicago Bears. The Bears are a hell of a team, and if this Eagles team shows up on Friday, there's no chance of them winning.

NFL Week 12 predictions
We're now 2/3rds of the way through the 2025 NFL season. We've had some surprises. We've had some strange moments. And we've even had a tie. But how will this week's slate of games go? Here's what I think. Before that, here's how I did last week. I had a solid 11-4 record, bringing my total for the year to 111-56-1. That being said, let's get into it.
Bills vs Texans (Thursday night) Bills win 31-13
The Bills had a great win over the Buccaneers. Josh Allen had 3 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns, becoming the first player to do that twice in his career. Tyrell Shavers had a breakout game with 90 yards and a touchdown. The Texans struggled mightily, but squeaked out a win over the 1-8 Titans. Davis Mills looked a little shaky, but overall not terrible. The offense just shot themselves in the foot repeatedly. Going up against a team like the Bills, they need to get it together. I don't trust them to do that. Bills win.
Steelers vs Bears- Bears win 28-17
The Steelers blew out the Bengals, but Aaron Rodgers broke his wrist and might not be playing. Mason Rudolph was good in relief, with 12/16, 127 yards and a score. The defense had 2 touchdowns as well. The Bears got a last second win over the Vikings, and are now on top of the NFC North for the first time in 7 years. Caleb Williams wasn't great, but the offense as a whole wasn't. The defense had a solid showing that carried them to victory. I'm predicting this as if Rodgers isn't going to play. I don't think he will. Bears win.
Patriots vs Bengals- Patriots win 38-14
The Patriots beat up on the Jets on Thursday Night Football. Drake Maye was good, with 281 yards and a score. But the story of the game was Treveyon Henderson, who had 2 rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. The defense was great also, shutting down Justin Fields. The Bengals were a mess. They were blown out by the Steelers, and Ja'Marr Chase is suspended for this game for spitting on Jalen Ramsey. Joe Flacco threw a pick 6 and Noah Fant's fumble was returned for a touchdown. The defense still is not good, and they're playing probably the best offense in the league. This isn't gonna go well. Pats win.
Giants vs Lions- Lions win 30-14
The Giants were competitive, but couldn't overcome penalties and turnovers, and lost to the Packers. Jameis Winston wasn't his best, with 201 yards and an interception. The defense wasn't great either, allowing 2 passing scores. The Lions lost in Philadelphia on Sunday Night Football, mainly because Dan Campbell was wayyyy too aggressive, going for it on 4th down 5 times and missing all 5 times. Jared Goff was horrible, completing just 14 of his 37 passes. They can blame the refs all they want, but it doesn't change the fact that the offense was putrid. I do think they'll rebound against a sad Giants defense.
Vikings vs Packers- Packers win 28-15
The Vikings lost at home to the Bears, and JJ McCarthy was horrible. He had the same completion percentage as Caleb Williams, but unlike Williams, McCarthy threw 2 picks. Jordan Mason had 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The defense was good, but it wasn't enough. The Packers, as previously mentioned, defeated the Giants in New Jersey, and Jordan Love had 2 scores. Micah Parsons had 1.5 sacks, his first sacks since week 8. Malik Willis came in for an injured Love for a few drives and threw a touchdown. Things were really clicking for Green Bay, and I think things will continue. Packers win.
Seahawks vs Titans- Seahawks win 38-17
The Seahawks had a tough loss to the Rams in LA. Sam Darnold was awful, throwing 4 interceptions. Kenneth Walker had a heck of a game, with 67 yards and a touchdown. They just couldn't overcome the 4 interceptions in this game. The Titans had another loss, this time to the Texans at home. Cam Ward was mediocre with 194 yards and a touchdown. He was also the leading rusher. The defense was good, but you can't really overcome offensive struggles. And I think those offensive struggles will continue.
Colts vs Chiefs- Colts win 27-24
The Colts were on a bye last week. The Chiefs lost in Denver for the 3rd year in a row, and it looks like their reign over the AFC West might be done. Patrick Mahomes had a very mediocre showing, with 29-45 passing, 276 yards and a score. Travis Kelce had a good game with 91 yards and a score. The defense was good, but not when it mattered most. I think this will be a tight game, but I have the Colts winning.
Jets vs Ravens- Ravens win 27-13
The Jets lost on Thursday Night Football. Justin Fields wasn't good, and that led to his benching. The offense just...sputtered as a whole. The defense wasn't any better. The Ravens had a tight win. Lamar Jackson sucked, but Derrick Henry saved his ass, with over 100 yards and a score. I'd be very surprised if the Jets won this. If the Ravens lose, they might as well kiss their playoff hopes goodbye.
Browns vs Raiders- Raiders win 17-10
This won't be fun. The Browns lost at home, and lost Dillon Gabriel to a concussion. That means Shedeur Sanders is playing this week. He looked like hot trash in relief of Gabriel, but we'll see if things turn around. The Raiders were smoked on prime time against the Cowboys. Geno Smith wasn't that good, and he was the leading rusher with FOURTEEN rushing yards. They couldn't run the ball at all. Chip Kelly is a hack, which I've said since the beginning, and he needs to go. This is a tossup. I'm going with the Raiders because they're at home, so maybe it'll give them a boost.
Jaguars vs Cardinals- Jaguars win 30-17
The Jaguars blew the Chargers out of the water last week. Travis Etienne ran for 2 scores. The defense was fantastic, shutting down Justin Herbert. Things are clicking in Duval. The Cardinals, not so much. They were blown out at home by the 49ers. The defense was terrible. Jacoby Brissett broke the completion record, but he was playing against a backup secondary. I am taking the Jags here. I think they're on a roll right now.
Eagles vs Cowboys- Eagles win 21-10
The Eagles squeaked by the Lions on Sunday Night. The offense was putrid, but the defense was fantastic. Kevin Patullo sucks, and the offense is suffering because of it. The Cowboys blew out the Raiders, and Dak Prescott was great. The defense was good as well. I am taking the Eagles, because the defense is so good.
Falcons vs Saints- Saints win 13-9
The Falcons lost in overtime to the Panthers, and lost Michael Penix Jr for the year with an ACL tear, so things weren't great for the Falcons. Bijan Robinson is fantastic though. The Saints were on a bye week. I am taking New Orleans because they're at home and Kirk Cousins is trash.
Buccaneers vs Rams (Sunday night)- Rams win 28-26
The Bucs lost a heartbreaker in Buffalo. Sean Tucker and Baker Mayfield were great. But they couldn't stop Josh Allen. The Rams beat the Seahawks by picking off Sam Darnold 4 times, and Kyren Williams running all over the defense. I'm going with the Rams here because I just think they're a better team.
Panthers vs 49ers (Monday night) 49ers win 27-20
The Panthers beat out the Falcons and Bryce Young set the franchise record for passing yards in a game. Tetairoa McMillan was great also. The defense was solid also. The 49ers blew out the Cardinals in Brock Purdy's return. He had 200 yards and 3 touchdowns, 2 of them to George Kittle. Christian McCaffrey ran for 2 scores. The offense was incredible. I don't think they're going to slow down.
One more week until Thanksgiving week. I'm excited to see my Eagles on Black Friday this year. See you next week!

NFL Week 11 predictions
Week 11 of the NFL season is here. We've got a big slate of games this week, including the final overseas game of the year. Let's get into it. Last week I had a mediocre 9-5 record, which brings my record to 100-52-1.
Jets vs Patriots (Thursday night)- Patriots win 31-17
This might be an ugly one. The Jets did get another win this week, but it was against Dillon Gabriel and the Browns. Justin Fields barely threw the ball, but he did throw a touchdown to Breece Hall, who had a fantastic game. The real story of the game was the special teams. They returned a punt and a kickoff for a touchdown. The Patriots got a gutsy win over the Buccaneers. Treveyon Henderson had 147 yards and 2 scores. Drake Maye had only a 51% completion percentage, but he made up for it with 270 yards and 2 scores. I am taking the Pats to win this because the Jets' 2 wins haven't impressed me.
Commanders vs Dolphins (Madrid) -Dolphins win 28-14
The final game overseas this year is also the first ever game in Madrid. And it might not be fun. The Commanders were blown out by the Lions in their house. Daron Payne was ejected for punching a Lion in the face during the 2nd quarter. Jared Goff balled out with 320 yards and 3 scores. Jahmyr Gibbs had 142 yards and 2 scores against the sorry defense. Things were ugly in the nations capital. The Dolphins, on the other hand, blew out the Bills at home. De'Von Achane was incredible this game. Tua Tagovailoa was solid, and the defense was incredible. I think they'll carry that momentum into this game. Fins win.
Packers vs Giants- Packers win 17-9
Drew Brees is making his NFL commentating for this game. Curious how he sounds. As for the game itself, I don't think it'll be great. The Packers lost an UGLY Monday Night Football game 10-7. The offense was mediocre. Josh Jacobs wasn't bad, but the playcalling sucked. The defense was good, though. The Giants had a 10-point lead over the Bears in Chicago with under 5 minutes. Then they allowed 14 unanswered points to lose. Jaxon Dart had a concussion, so Jameis Winston will get the start here. But they did fire Brian Daboll, so maybe things are looking up. I'm going with the Packers, because I don't think Winston has it anymore.
Texans vs Titans- Texans win 42-24
The Texans had a crazy come-from-behind win over the Jaguars, where they scored 26 unanswered points in the 4th quarter. Davis Mills had a wonderful game, with 292 yards and 2 touchdowns. The defense was lights-out in the 4th. The Titans had a bye. I'm going with Houston because the Titans are a mess.
Panthers vs Falcons- Falcons win 27-9
The Panthers lost to the Saints at home and the offense looked lethargic. Bryce Young looked like trash. Rico Dowdle was good, but not stellar. Defense was okay. Just okay. The Falcons lost a heartbreaker in Berlin 31-25 in overtime to the Colts. Michael Penix wasn't that good. Drake London was solid. The defense couldn't stop Jonathan Taylor, and it cost them. I do think that Rico Dowdle will play a factor. If the Falcons can't stop him, I don't think they win. But I do think they do stop him and win.
Bears vs Vikings- Bears win 28-17
The Bears had a gritty come-from-behind win over the Giants. Caleb Williams had a nice game, with 220 yards and a score. The defense was clutch when it mattered, and that's all that matters. The Vikings had a tough loss against the Ravens. JJ McCarthy wasn't good, and it looks like the weeks of not playing have caught up to him. And I don't think he'll get better. Bears win.
Chargers vs Jaguars- Chargers win 30-9
The Chargers got a good win on Sunday Night Football. Justin Herbert was alright, but the defense was the story of the game, picking off Aaron Rodgers twice. The running game was solid as well. The Jaguars had a 4th-quarter meltdown in Houston. Trevor Lawrence was horrible, with only 158 yards and a score, and 13-23 through the air. The defense is what cost them this game, and against a guy like Herbert, they've got their hands full.
Buccaneers vs Bills- Buccaneers win 35-28
The Buccaneers had a tough loss at home. Baker Mayfield was very good, with 273 yards and 3 scores. The defense just couldn't get it done. Things just didn't go their way on defense. The Bills had a rough game. They were blown out in Miami and Josh Allen wasn't good. The defense was horrible, allowing 370 yards. And I don't think they'll be any better against a tough team like the Bucs.
Bengals vs Steelers- Steelers win 38-27
The Bengals were on a bye after a wild game against the Bears. The Steelers had a rough prime-time showing in LA. Aaron Rodgers looked like trash. The offense as a whole looked terrible. And the defense wasn't much better. I am taking them, however, because Cincinnati's defense is just so bad.
Seahawks vs Rams- Rams win 38-35
Game of the week candidate right here. Both teams put up 40+ on division rivals, and in the Seahawks game, DeMarcus Lawrence returned 2 fumbles for touchdowns. For the Rams, Matthew Stafford looked like an MVP favorite. This should be a good one, but I'm taking home-field advantage.
49ers vs Cardinals- 49ers win 28-20
These two were on the opposite sides of the 40+ points put up. The 49ers at least had Mac Jones looking good. The Cardinals had nothing going for them. Jacoby Brissett was bad, the defense was terrible, everything was bad. The 49ers win this one.
Chiefs vs Broncos- Chiefs win 27-17
The Chiefs were on a bye. The Broncos had an ugly Thursday Night Football win 10-7. Bo Nix didn't play good, but he didn't need to. The defense won the Broncos this game. Nothing else needs to be said. If the offense from last week shows up this week, the defense needs to be perfect. Anything else and it'll be a tough one. I'm not sure how much I trust them,so I will take the Chiefs here.
Ravens vs Browns- Ravens win 41-24
The Ravens got a solid win over the Vikings. Lamar Jackson looked solid, the defense played well, and their playoff chances are still alive. The Browns....woof. They lost to the Jets, and Dillon Gabriel looked like trash. They had no offensive line. The defense couldn't stop anything. It was a rough game all-around. I don;t think things will get better. Ravens win.
Lions vs Eagles (Sunday night) Eagles win 24-20
The Lions had a dominant win over the Commanders. Jared Goff and Jahmyr Gibbs looked spectacular. The defense was great. Heck, they even reminded us that Kyle Allen is still in the league. The Eagles had a rough win. Jalen Hurts was solid, but the run game wasn't the best. The defense was great. Jalen Hurts' decision to go for it on 4th down instead of punting was questionable at best. And Kevin Patullo still sucks. I am taking them because of home-field advantage, and because I have to have some faith.
Cowboys vs Raiders (Monday night) Cowboys win 20-14
The Cowboys were on a bye last week, and it's likely for the best after the tragic passing of their brother, Marshawn Kneeland. I hope his family and teammates are doing alright during this tough time. Remember to call 988 if you or someone you know are having suicidal thoughts. The Raiders had a tough showing on Thursday Night Football. Geno Smith didn't look good. Ashton Jeanty was good, but the offense couldn't overcome its own struggles. The defense played well, but they needed to play perfectly. This is a tossup, to be honest, and not in a good way. But I am taking the Cowboys because I have more faith in them.
This week's slate is somewhat lackluster, but we might see some good games. We'll see though!

I met Brandon Graham
I'm going to do something a little different today. Yesterday, I met Brandon Graham of the Philadelphia Eagles at Carl's Cards in my hometown of Havertown, PA. I wanna talk a bit about that.
The line to get in was very long, outside the store even. I waited for a while to get in. I was excited, but nervous. What was I going to say to him? I figured I'd talk to him about his iconic strip sack of Brandon Graham in Super Bowl LII, because that's one of my favorite plays of all time. When we got into the store, we bought a picture of Graham with his 2 Lombardi Trophies. I liked that photo very much. I got Graham to sign it, and he said he hopes to get another Lombardi.
I didn't get the chance to say anything to Graham, partly because of time constraints, and partly because I was too nervous to say anything. It was awesome meeting one of my favorite players. I was starstruck. He's a great player and a great guy.

NFL Week 10 predictions
It's NFL Week 10. We still don't know who's good and who's not. But we can try to predict these games. Last week I went a solid 10-4. That brings my record this year to 91-43-1. Not too bad. Let's get into these games.
Raiders vs Broncos (Thursday night) Broncos win 31-21
Starting off with a divisional matchup on Thursday Night Football. The Raiders lost a tough game to the Jaguars at home in overtime. Pete Carroll went for 2 points to end it, but threw a slant towards the end zone. Geno Smith had a good game, and Brock Bowers had a better one. They beat themselves, really. The Broncos got an ugly win in Houston. Bo Nix didn't play his best, but he didn't really need to. The defense was incredible. The offense....eh. I think the Broncos can get the job done.
Falcons vs Colts (Berlin) Colts win 31-28
The first (and only) game in Germany this year might be an interesting one. The Falcons were very close to pulling off an upset in New England, but they missed the game winning PAT. Michael Penix Jr had a good game, throwing all 3 touchdowns to Drake London. The defense wasn't great, though. The Colts, surprisingly, lost to the Steelers. They turned the ball over 6 times, all coming from Daniel Jones. The defense was mediocre, but they traded for Sauce Gardner, so he might have an impact. I could see the Falcons pulling this off, but I think the Colts are a little angry right now, and this is a good way to take out some of that anger. Colts win.
Browns vs Jets- Jets win 14-7
Both teams were on a bye last week. The Jets were still busy, however, by trading players like Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams in exchange for 1st-round picks. That is a smart move, looking towards the future. This is likely to be an ugly game, but I am taking the Jets just because they're at home.
Saints vs Panthers- Panthers win 20-7
The Saints benched Spencer Rattler for Tyler Shough last week. It didn't go so well. The 26-year old rookie went 15-24 for 176 yards, one touchdown and an interception. They lost 34-10. The Panthers shocked the Packers in Lambeau Field. It was the Rico Dowdle show, as he had 130 yards and two touchdowns. I am taking the Panthers because I think they're riding high after that win.
Patriots vs Buccaneers- Buccaneers win 34-31
This should be a good one. The Patriots might be back. They have won 6 games in a row. Drake Maye has been playing some incredible football. Mike Vrabel is a fantastic coach. The defense has been looking much better under him. The Buccaneers were on a bye. This will be a tight one, but I'm taking the Bucs because they're at home.
Ravens vs Vikings- Ravens win 28-24
The Ravens might be back as well. Lamar Jackson returned and threw 4 touchdowns, all to tight ends. The defense shut down the Dolphins offense, which looked flatlined. The Vikings pulled off an upset in Detroit. JJ McCarthy made his first start in almost 2 months and looked solid, with 2 touchdowns. This should be an interesting game, but I'm going with the Ravens, because I was impressed by them on Thursday night.
Bills vs Dolphins- Bills win 31-10
The Bills beat the Chiefs in the regular season once again, with Josh Allen going 23-26 with 273 yards. James Cook ran for 114 yards, and Dalton Kincaid had over 100 yards and a score. Impressive stuff by the Bills. The Dolphins, on the other hand, weren't so good. They were blown out on prime time. The defense looked terrible, the offense looked terrible, it was just all-around bad. Things won't get better. Bills blowout win.
Giants vs Bears- Bears win 28-21
The Giants are coming off a loss to the 49ers. Jaxon Dart had a good game, with 247 total yards and 3 total touchdowns. The defense just couldn't stop Christian McCaffrey and Mac Jones. After the Cam Skattebo injury, it's gone downhill. The Bears had an incredible game. They were up 41-27 with under 2 minutes to go. They allowed a touchdown and a 2-point conversion to make it a 6-point game. They failed to recover an onside kick and the Bengals scored to take the lead. The Bears got the ball back and scored to win it. Caleb Williams had a hell of a game with 283 yards and 3 touchdowns, and even catching a touchdown. Kyle Monangai had 176 yards on the ground. The defense has plenty of issues, but we'll see if they get fixed. I am going with the Bears. I just think the offense is at a good point right now.
Jaguars vs Texans- Jaguars win 28-21
The Jaguars won a crazy overtime game against the Raiders. Trevor Lawrence had a mediocre game, but he ran for 2 touchdowns. The defense wasn't great, but the Raiders made mistakes that the Jaguars capitalized on. Cam Little hit a 68-yard field goal, breaking the previous record of 66 set by Justin Tucker. He's an incredible kicker, and it's fun to watch. The Texans almost got a win over the Broncos, but the Broncos pulled away in the end. CJ Stroud was out with a concussion in the 2nd quarter. Davis Mills took over, and wasn't good. He's starting this week, so I'm taking Jacksonville.
Cardinals vs Seahawks- Seahawks win 31-17
The Cardinals got a win on Monday Night Football. Jacoby Brissett looked damn good, with 261 yards and 2 touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr. had 96 yards and a score. The defense shut the high powered Dallas offense down. Dak Prescott looked mediocre. The Cowboys turned the ball over 3 times. Not much went right for the Cowboys. The Seahawks had a fantastic week. Sam Darnold had a perfect first half, and they blew out the Commanders 38-14 in their house. They had 418 yards on offense, 330 through the air. I don't think they can be stopped right now, and I think they'll have no problem rolling over the Cardinals.
Lions vs Commanders- Lions win 34-13
The Lions had a tough home loss to the Vikings. Jared Goff played very well, with 284 yards and 2 TDs. The offense played very well, but the defense couldn't stop the run whatsoever, and it cost them. The Commanders, as previously mentioned, were blown out on home field on primetime, and it didn't stop there. Luke McCaffrey broke his collarbone and will likely miss the rest of the year, and worst of all, Jayden Daniels dislocated his wrist and likely won't return this year.I don't have faith in Marcus Mariota, so I'm going with the Lions.
Rams vs 49ers- Rams win 31-28
The Rams blew out the Saints. Matthew Stafford had 281 yards and 4 touchdowns. The offense was on fire, with over 400 yards, and the defense held the Saints in check. The 49ers beat the Giants thanks to great performances by Mac Jones and Christian McCaffrey. The offense just outplayed the Giants. I am going with the Rams because the 49ers are beaten up.
Steelers vs Chargers (Sunday night) Steelers win 31-20
The Steelers beat the Colts thanks to great performances by the defense and Aaron Rodgers. The Chargers beat the Titans, but lost Joe Alt for the year. Justin Herbert played quite well, but I can't see him doing well with no offensive line. Steelers win.
Eagles vs Packers (Monday night) Eagles win 23-7
The Eagles were on a bye, but traded for Jaelen Phillips, Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter. The Packers had an embarrassing loss at home. The offense sucked, especially Jordan Love. I am taking the Eagles because of that.
Only 2 more months in the NFL season, and I'm excited to spend it with you guys. Thanks for reading!

Dodgers win 2025 World Series
The Los Angeles Dodgers won the 2025 World Series, defeating the Toronto Blue Jays 4 games to 3.They won their second straight title, becoming the first team to win consecutive titles since the New York Yankees from 1998-2000. The series was filled with great moments, like Addison Barger's grand slam in game 1, Yoshinobu Yamamoto's complete game in game 2, the 18-inning long game 3, the incredible game 6 double play to end it, and then the deciding game 7 was full of incredible moments. The Blue Jays were 2 outs away from winning it all in game 7. Miguel Rojas, who got his first hit all series earlier, was up. He hit a home run to left field to tie it up, and saved the game again later that inning by throwing out a man at home. Will Smith hit the game winning home run in the 11th, but the Blue Jays had runners on the corners in the bottom half of the inning. Alejandro Kirk hit a ground ball to second for a double play to end the series. Yamamoto, who got the save, was named MVP.
This was an incredibly fun series to watch as an outside observer. I was rooting for the Dodgers because I was told at a young age not to like the Blue Jays because of Joe Carter's walk off. I was happy the Dodgers won, but I felt a little bad for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. I really like watching him play. If the Jays ever won one, he'd be one of the few people I'd be happy for. I was happy for Shohei Ohtani. I think he's a fantastic player. Here's to next season!
