Eagles vs Chiefs preview

The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will square off in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII tonight at 8:20 pm. Both teams are at the top of their respective conferences, and the storylines heading into this game are incredible. To top it all off, this game will be played at one of the best stadiums in the NFL, Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

The Eagles are coming off a bye following another win at home against their archrival, the Dallas Cowboys. However, they're not playing as well as their record indicates. They have talent, but there seems to be something holding them back. AJ Brown has been on fire, already over 1,000 yards and 6 touchdowns. Jalen Hurts is already above 2,000 yards and shows no signs of stopping. On the defense, Hassan Reddick is sacking QBs like crazy, with 7.5 so far on the year. Right behind him is Josh Sweat, with 6.5.

The Chiefs are also coming off a bye following a win in Germany over the Miami Dolphins. Outside of a 41-point outburst in Week 3, the offense hasn't been playing as well as they have in past years. Patrick Mahomes is, well, Patrick Mahomes, the best quarterback in the game. He's also been throwing for 2,000+ yards thus far, and his connection with Travis Kelce is still as good as ever. Kelce, who's currently dating singer Taylor Swift, has been playing very well, despite only 14 yards in Week 9. He's gone for over 100 yards twice, and even when he isn't going for 100, he's still putting up touchdowns.

Now for my prediction. This will be a gritty, hard-fought game, but in the end, Philly wins it 30-27. They might win another ugly game, but I still feel like they'll show a little more than Kansas City. It could go either way, though.

Cowboys vs. Eagles preview

The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys will square up in a huge NFC East showdown at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Kickoff is on Sunday, November 5 at 4:25 pm ET.

The Eagles have been a very weird team this year. They're not bad at all, but they definitely haven't been as good as last year's team was. But inexplicably, they keep winning. Jalen Hurts has been doing great with the exception of Week 6 against the Jets, and even then he had a solid game. Last week against Washington, he threw for 319 yards, 4 touchdowns, and no interceptions. AJ Brown has looked incredible, with nearly 1,000 yards and 5 touchdowns through the first 8 games. And the Eagles defensive line has looked stellar, sacking every quarterback in sight.

The Cowboys are 5-2 and coming off an offensive explosion against the Rams. Like the Eagles, the Cowboys have been weird. They either win beautifully or lose embarrassingly with no in-between. Their losses have been a loss to the lowly Cardinals and a primetime blowout loss to the hated rival 49ers. Dak Prescott has been good, but not spectacular. He's throwing for yards, but not touchdowns. Luckily he's lowered his interception count so far. The loss of Ezekiel Elliot hasn't seemed to hurt the Cowboys offense, as Tony Pollard has filled his hole nicely. The Cowboys defense, however, has been fantastic. Micah Parsons has had a whopping 6 sacks thus far, and DaRon Bland has 4 interceptions.

Now for my predictions. This should be a fantastic game, with both offenses looking sharp and both defenses locked in, but in the end, the Eagles win it as AJ Brown continues to look astounding. Jalen Hurts will look locked in on the ground and through the air. Dak and the Boys will also bring their A-game, and Micah Parsons will keep doing what he's been doing, but it won't be enough to possibly take over the NFC East in Week 10.

Predictions: Eagles win 35-31
