The Tennessee Titans have signed star receiver DeAndre Hopkins to a two-year deal worth $26 million. He will receive a $3 million incentive if he reaches a specific amount of catches, yards, and touchdowns. Hopkins played 6 seasons with the Houston Texans, then played the last 3 years with the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals then released him in May after trying and failing to trade him. The New England Patriots had a chance at signing Hopkins, but missed, to the disappointment of many Patriots fans.
I don't quite know how to feel about this. Hopkins is a great receiver and has a chance at being a Hall of Famer, but he's 31 and hasn't been putting up great numbers in recent years. 2 years ago, the Titans went all in on an aging star wideout in Julio Jones, but it backfired and Jones had a lackluster season in Nashville. The Titans had a hot start last season, but then lost
