Seahawks beat Patriots in Super Bowl 60

The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl champions, defeating the New England Patriots 29-13 yesterday in a game they had from the get-go. Their defense swarmed Drake Maye and the New England offense all game. The offense picked it up in the second half after a 9-0 score in favor of Seattle at halftime. The Patriots couldn't get anything done on the ground, only amassing 79 rushing yards. The Seahawks doubled that, and Kenneth Walker had 135 yards rushing, the highest in a Super Bowl since 1998. He was named the game's MVP. Jason Myers was perfect kicking, going 5 for 5. And Sam Darnold is the first Super Bowl winning quarterback from the 2018 draft class, a draft class that featured the likes of Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield.

I am happy for the Seahawks and especially Sam Darnold. He has been through a lot, and it was nice seeing him finally get a ring on his 5th team. He started his career with the Jets, then played on the Panthers, 49ers and Vikings. The defense is amazing, the best in the NFL in my opinion. Kenneth Walker is a fun player to watch, and he is going to get paid in the offseason.

That concludes another season of the NFL. It was a wild year, filled with dramatic games, surprising teams, and players coming out of retirement. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
